Alaskan Thunder Fuck strain:
ATF strain is a hybrid that produces a well-known, instantaneous high that can make colors appear brighter and everything else appear happier and easier.
It is well-known for its distinct blend and resulting high. This rare northern beauty will hit you like a freight train and boasts of unusually high CBD levels, which can often reach a mind-boggling 0.8 percent.
There are few strains whose origins are shrouded in such mystery. Alaskan Thunderfuck is said to be the result of a cross between a Northern Californian Sativa, Afghani, and a Russian Ruderalis.
In the 1970s, Afghani genes were introduced into the mix, and the luscious cold-climate sativa Alaskan Thunderfuck was born. It is also referred to as Matanuska Tundra or ATF, after its native Matanuska Valley.
This strain isn’t the most pleasantly fragrant of the bunch, but it gets the job done. ATF strain smells like a combination of diesel and skunk, with a hint of sweetness. Some say this strain smells like cat piss, but it’s more pungent and earthy, with a pine scent reminiscent of North American forest land.
So if ingested, this bud truly comprises a broad range of flavors. Alaskan Thunderfuck tastes similar to how it smells but better. A sweet and musky cloud of spicy bananas will hang in the air, and its sweet earthiness will linger on your tongue. This particularly unique sativa also has a citrus and orange undertone.
Average Yield
Because of its heritage, this strain is known to thrive in the great outdoors, particularly in cooler, northern climates. Alaskan Thunderfuck can produce abundantly when grown indoors, but it pales in comparison to when grown outdoors.
Outdoor-grown Alaskan Thunderfuck can produce a massive yield and a beautiful bud that is covered in crystals and pretty orange hair and has a sticky, skunky smell.
When grown indoors, this plant can produce an average of 350 grams per square meter. It takes approximately 8-9 weeks for Alaskan Thunderfuck to flower and be ready for harvest.
When grown outdoors, this sativa produces a staggering amount of fruit. Alaskan Thunderfuck can produce an average of 700 grams per plant and is expected to be ready for harvest in October.
Medical use
In terms of medicine, this wonder-strain is a panacea. ATF strain is well-known for its ability to alleviate pain. This strain effectively treats everything from muscle spasms to joint pains and other chronic body pain.
Those suffering from mental illnesses can also use Alaskan Thunderfuck. This potent sativa relieves PTSD, depression, and anxiety. Migraines and headaches can also be treated effectively, even with low doses.
In the medical cannabis community, this strain has become extremely valuable. Alaskan Thunderfuck is ideal for use during the day because it gives you a boost of energy, leaving you awake, focused, and ready to face the day.
This strain’s cerebral high is pleasant while it works its magic, combating symptoms of fatigue and lethargy and creating a stress-free mood. Alaskan Thunderfuck may also benefit those suffering from eating disorders by stimulating the appetite and inducing the munchies.
