Weed Legalization Map: Where to Buy Cannabis in Bangkok?
When cannabis was made legal this past Thursday, a slew of dispensaries popped up, selling everything from excellent Thai strains to export absurdity weed. We thought of creating a weed legalization map.
We’ve written about a few of them, including Highland Cafe in the Lat Phrao neighborhood north of downtown and The Dispensary near Sala Daeng. Here are the locations where we have confirmed cannabis can be purchased. While this is by no means an exhaustive list, we will continue to add locations to it. Please contact us if you know of any other venues, particularly those outside of the downtown area.
Taking the Moral High Ground
But before we hit on that road some bits and pieces to consider about making weed legal as part of the marijuana legalization according to an adviser to the UN’s International Narcotics Control Board, the UN is likely to take the moral high ground in the aftermath of Thailand’s contentious decision to delist cannabis or recreational marijuana.

Weed Laws in Different States
In Rhode Island Adults 21 and up can now obtain possession of small amounts of marijuana, grow cannabis in their principal residence (within certain limits), and possess up to 10 ounces of cannabis in addition to live plants. Retail sales could begin as early as December 1. There is yet to have another legalization map for the United States to be written.
Marijuana laws in West Virginia, medical marijuana is legal in the following forms: dry leaf or plant form, pills, oils, gels, creams or ointments, extracts consumed via vaporization or nebulization, tinctures liquids, and dermal patches.
Also considered in North Carolina is the Possession of more than half an ounce up to 1.5 ounces of cannabis is a class 1 misdemeanor punishable by up to 45 days in prison and a $200 fine under current law. Sensii Dispensary
Sensii opened Saturday, June 18 at Mexican restaurant Tortilla Quemada in Soi Sukhumvit 23 near the Asok intersection. Colin Stevens, one of the first foreign dispensary owners, explained that the name is a play on sensimilla, the Spanish word for seedless female buds with high THC levels.
While its strain inventory is being finalized, prices for mid-range herbs will range from THB 500-600, top-shelf products will range from THB 800-1000, and rare and exotic strains will cost more than THB 1,000.

Leaf Cannabis Cafe
Leaf Cannabis Cafe, one of the first to sell CBD-based products, has expanded its menu to include bud, with prices starting at THB 600 per gram (THB 800 if ordered online).
Aside from medical marijuana, it sells a CBD menu that includes brownies ranging from THB 100 to THB 250, donuts (THB 300), cookies (THB 150-200), popcorn (THB 200), jellies (THB 150), and CBD and THC oils (THB 1,290) (5ml for THB 990 and 10ml for THB 1,890).
Chopaka.Shop
Kitty Chopaka, formerly of Highland, opened this shop with a hard-to-miss neon weed leaf sign and began selling cannabis on Thursday. Sunrise Sherbet costs THB 555, while Gorilla Jamaica costs THB 888.
Regrettably, there is a catch. Although the shop is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, weed is only sold from 10 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 4:20 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Aside from marijuana, people can purchase rolling papers, storage jars, and massive wooden bongs.
Sukhumweed
Sukhumweed is a one-stop-shop for all things green, established by child actor-turned-weed grower Soranut “Beer” Masayavanich. For THB 250 per gram, you can get a very good domestic strain called Thai Loy or one of their many imported strains. Minimum orders for imported bud range from 3 to 3.5 grams, with prices starting at THB 1,750. Furthermore, smoking accessories such as bongs, rolling papers, pipes, and grinders are obtainable.

Highland Cafe, run by Thailand’s prime legalization lobbying group serves medical marijuana to its legal status, making marijuana legal, and the same people who put on the annual 420 Festival. Offers a plethora of strains ranging in price from THB 450 for a gram of Sunset Sherbert indica to THB 700 for a gram of Sugarcane Sativa. Clients can also order 3.5 grams of any of the cafe’s strains beginning at THB 1,400.

The Dispensary By Taratera
The Dispensary, which sells buds grown on farms across the country, has myriad marijuana varieties in containers on the queue and shelf that customers can take back to douse. Medical Cannabis Shop
Leena Jungjunja, a socialite and provocateur, is already selling THC-laced products since she launched her multiple shops in 2019. The upper part is commercialized as a medical clinic and serves obviously medical cannabis for people with chronic pain. She offers a lot of CBD products, but also THC sprays and, of course, weed, which starts at THB 500 per gram, at her Pratunam clinic.

Long known for its smoking accessories, Bong Party has started selling marijuana strains at prices ranging from THB 400 to THB 800.
The shop, located next to the alley leading into the Srinagarinda Train Market, as of now only sells bud in-store; no delivery service is available. Of course, if you need supplies, they have a large selection of cleaning brushes, grinders, rolling paper, and bongs. There are numerous bongs. There are glass and silicone bongs, as well as more unusual designs such as R2D2s, skulls, rockets, dicks, and so on.

N’ Louis’ Happy Buds

No Man’s Land
No Man’s Land is a hidden rooftop bar in Bangkok that sells four strains of cannabis with prices starting at THB 450 per gram. Pre-rolled joints are also available for THB 350. To find it, look for a black building 350 meters from BTS Saphan Taksin. The rooftop bar has super colorful furniture and offers cannabis snacks, a play corner with Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, and a stoner area decked out with pillows, ideal for relaxing or taking a nap.

Alchemi Botanics Cannabis
In the Phra Khanong area near the Watthana district, you can find a store that sells marijuana and related products such as CBD oil, rolled papers, and more. One of its founders is said to be ready to educate clients about the cannabis lineage and bud selection, as well as to provide notions about growth and other issues. The store, in the future, plans to organize workshops. Some varieties sold are Strawberry Tree at THB 300/g, Cake & Cream at THB 500/g, and Colin OG RBX at THB 750/g.
